In the first century, twelve apostles reached the entire known world during their lifetimes. This is something more than one billion Christians have been trying to do for more than a millennium, and yet half of the world remains unreached.

Is there a way we can reach the more than five billion people that are yet to be reached? “We believe we can reach any nation, city, or town within 10 to 15 years”. This can be done through Kingdom Evangelism. We are familiar with personal evangelism, prayer and power evangelism, crusade evangelism, etc., and not heard of Kingdom Evangelism.

If we are to win nations to Christ (which is God’s heart), we need to preach the gospel of the kingdom and do Kingdom Evangelism. What is Kingdom Evangelism? Kingdom Evangelism is evangelizing through solving nations’ and communities’ problems, and witnessing to nations Jesus as King, Creator, Judge, and Lord. We have been witnessing Jesus as the Healer, Teacher, Prophet and Shepherd for so long. We do not have enough people witnessing Him as the Creator, King, Lord, and Judge in our nations.

We have reached the maximum number of people we can reach with the traditional methods we have been using. If the rest of the people of this world are to be reached, we need to use Kingdom Evangelism.

If you study the book of Acts in depth, you will find the secrets too bringing nations back to God. There is a specific method God used throughout the book of Acts, which we can use to win any nation to Jesus Christ in a matter of time if we learn it and put it to work.

The apostles did not go out and conduct crusades and start orphanages or build retirement homes. They won nations to Christ. How did they do that? It is worth repeating that twelve men reached the entire known world in their lifetime, something more than a billion Christians have been trying to do for almost two thousand years.

What method did the Holy Spirit use? The church in the book of Acts functioned as any kingdom would operate. Only when we have the perception of a kingdom will we truly understand the book of Acts. Without a kingdom mindset, we will only see the religious activities and miracles.

“When a kingdom tries to take over another kingdom, it goes after people in key positions”. In this case, we are not trying to kill them, but get them saved. After the Holy Spirit came, certain things were set in place in the early church before the miracles began to manifest. In Acts 2 the economy was set in order. Doctrines of the apostles were set in order. We do not pay attention to those; we jump straight to the miracle that happened in Acts 3.

New Methods of Kingdom Evangelism

We are used to personal evangelism, prayer evangelism, power evangelism, and crusade evangelism, but are not familiar with Kingdom Evangelism. Though we have been doing other kinds of evangelism, nations are not being won to Christ. All other types of evangelism will bring some souls to heaven because they are all based on the religious gospel people have been preaching, but that is not the most efficient way to win souls.

“When God decided to solve the problem man and earth had, He sent a King and a kingdom”. He did not send a program or a new method. He knows that the problems the earth is experiencing can be solved only through an invasion of another kingdom.

If you are a child of God, you are part of His kingdom. Our ultimate goal through evangelism is to win nations to Christ. When you do Kingdom Evangelism, you are invading the kingdom of darkness with the kingdom of God to infiltrate the systems of men with the ways of God.

Kingdom Evangelism is done through three major avenues. One is solving the problems of nations and communities. The second is witnessing to key leaders of nations, communities, and businesses, or influencing them with the wisdom of God. And the third is witnessing Jesus as King, Creator, Judge, and Lord. To do this, kingdom citizens must occupy or influence key places of leadership in politics, business, media, education, land, and other areas of life.

Evangelism through Problem Solving

How is Kingdom Evangelism is accomplished through problem solving? We read in Genesis about the famine the nation of Egypt faced. Actually, it was a famine that was caused by God:

“Moreover He called for a famine in the land; He destroyed all the provision of bread” (Psalm 105:16).

God will allow problems to arise in nations, giving an opportunity for His people to step in and solve them. But in most cases, when such problems arise, Christians miss the opportunity and start complaining and crying, “Lord, have mercy, take us out of here.” It’s either that or they point to the problems as signs of the end times. In any of these scenarios they do nothing, much to their loss.

In Egypt, the problem was a famine and God gave Joseph the wisdom to solve the problem. Thankfully, he did not blame global warming for the famine. He presented the plan to the king, who accepted the plan and gave the order to execute it. Within fourteen years, the entire nation of Egypt was evangelized. They knew there was a God in heaven Who ruled over the nations. Both Joseph and Pharaoh became extremely wealthy as a result, because toward the end of the famine people began to sell their land and property to Joseph for food. We can apply the same principle and reach any nation with the gospel of the kingdom within ten to fifteen years.

Every nation on this earth is ripe for harvest. They are facing tremendous problems in every sector of life. We have been interpreting this as signs of the end times, but those signs have been there from the beginning of time. Famine was there in Egypt, and famine is happening now in different nations. There was even a famine mentioned in the book of Acts. Wars have always been there, and wars are happening now in many parts of the world. You may say that solving these problems will cost billions of dollars, and you do not have the money. It may or may not cost any money to solve national problems. How much money did it take for Joseph to save Egypt from a severe famine? Not a penny!

How can a person, without using any money, solve the biggest problem a nation faces? I will share with you a secret and this will work in any nation. There is something more precious than money and gold. It is more powerful than weapons of war. It is the wisdom of God, and that is what manifested through Joseph. You may say that you do not have any wisdom. The Bible says that if we lack wisdom, we are to ask God, who gives it liberally.

Communities around us have problems that only God’s wisdom can solve. Those problems are waiting for us to get out of the four walls, which we call church, and solve them, to show that our God is greater and wiser than the gods of any nation. I am not talking about handing out free food. We are good at that.

Many nations are struggling to feed their citizens. There are communities that not have access to clean drinking water. Many lack schools and other basic necessities of life. Horrific abuse of women and children is going on in many countries. People are depressed and hopeless. They do not know their purpose. They are all waiting for the gospel of the kingdom to be preached to them.

Evangelism through Influencing Key Leaders

In Acts we read about Philip the Evangelist, who was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness of Gaza to witness to one of the leaders of the nation of Ethiopia. The eunuch, who was in charge of the treasury (economy) of the queen of Ethiopia, was traveling back to his nation after visiting Jerusalem for the feast.

Philip witnessed to him about Jesus, and this eunuch gave his life to the Lord and was baptized. He returned to his country and evangelized the whole nation of Ethiopia. He was a man of influence.

Consider the people Paul won to the kingdom. Many were influential. They were leaders, either religious, community, business, or political.

Evangelism through Witnessing Jesus as Creator, King, Judge, and Lord

“There are more people who are called to be in government and positions of authority than any other type of calling in the church”. God used people to influence kings and direct kingdoms. We have many more people in the body of Christ today with the same calling, but they have never been taught or trained: so they sit in the pews, frustrated and angry about what is happening in their nations and governments. These people need to be trained and released to become prime ministers, presidents, and community leaders.

I have written in detail about witnessing Jesus as Judge in The Power and Authority of the Church book. I would like to say a few words about witnessing Jesus as Lord. “Lord” means “owner”. We have landlords and other people we call “lord” in some cultures. To witness Jesus as Lord, Christians need to own land and properties. The first thing we should do when we move into a new community is buy a piece of land. You may say that you don’t have money to do so. Believe the Lord for the money, because He owns it all; the devil is illegally occupying that land until someone who has legal and spiritual authority comes in and dispossesses him.

Jesus is not just our Lord. He is the Lord of this earth. He is the Lord of heaven and earth:

“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1).

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Why does every creature need the gospel and not just humans? The curse affected everything. Paul said that he preached the gospel to every creature under heaven. Why does every creature need to hear the gospel? They all came under bondage because of the fall of man. Salvation is not just for humans, but for every aspect of creation that was affected by the fall of man. You are anointed to set free a part of creation from its bondage.

“If indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister” (Colossians 1:23).

Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom

“No nation on earth is closed to the gospel of the kingdom”. Some nations are closed to the religious gospel we have been preaching, but everyone will press in to the kingdom when the kingdom of God is preached. When I say preached, I am not just talking about proclaiming in words, but by manifesting the kingdom through what we do because everyone needs the kingdom and is looking for it.

“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it” (Luke 16:16).

How do we preach the gospel of the kingdom? We need to apply the wisdom of God to preach it. Every nation on earth is facing an enormous amount of problems. Light is the solution for darkness, and we are the light of the world.

When the British came to India and other nations, they had the perfect opportunity to preach the gospel. They were supposedly Christians, but they only exploited those nations for economic gain. They even forbade missionaries from preaching and did not allow them to come to India. They missed a huge opportunity. The same is true in other countries. As we go to the places we are called, let us not make the same mistake.

In all the kingdom parables, Jesus used natural things to reveal a mystery of the kingdom. There is nothing wrong with us doing that today! Jesus was giving us a key, or a seed, to manifest the gospel of the kingdom, to use something in the natural: water, oil, education, product, food, business—anything and everything to preach the gospel of the kingdom!

Jesus used every aspect of our life and nation to explain to us the kingdom of God. He referred to the court system, construction, the army, the economy, agriculture, education, family, relationships, and every industry that is out there. What He is saying to us is that nothing is exempt from the reach of the gospel of the kingdom. He was not against nations fighting each other. He even said that when a king goes to fight against another, he has to calculate the cost and how many there are against him:

“Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace” (Luke 14:31-32).

He talked about construction and the housing industry:

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish?’” (Luke 14:28-30).

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Matthew 7:24).

Jesus used food, agriculture, precious metals, water, and different products like wine, garments, land, water, sea, fish, farming, money, and pearls to preach the gospel. We can use the same not to tell stories with them, but to do it in real life and show the world our God.

“No government on earth will say “no” to a company or organization that is willing to solve a problem for them”. But they will say “no” if you ask for permission to conduct a crusade. Crusades will never save a nation. We are looking for restoration and transformation of nations.

The Catholics went into countries and solved educational and medical problems. They established schools and hospitals in almost every nation under heaven. Therefore they found a place in society and gained influence.

Jesus came to solve a problem: the sin problem: Likewise, each of us is sent here to solve a problem. When you solve a problem you will gain influence, and it will open the door wide and free. Daniel and Joseph solved national problems and they changed nations. That is Kingdom Evangelism. “If the church would become less religious and more kingdom minded, this world would be a better place in no time”!

Unemployment is a huge problem in many countries. If you start a company and create job opportunities for people, it will give you favor and open doors. No one will be able to prevent you from going into any nation. Nations are waiting to be harvested for the kingdom of God.
